None of Your Beeswax Lip Balm
Vegan or not, we’re all using None of Your Beeswax now. Its aim was to be free, like all of us, but specifically free of any animal products at all, not even vegetarian ones: no eggs, no honey, no yoghurt and particularly no beeswax. We didn’t have an all-year-round vegan lip balm, just a yuletide one, and we were getting some cross vegans with chapped lips in our shops demanding direct action. The team who made this one - LUSH UK shop managers working with our product creators - blended a lovely protecting, moisturising base of vegetable waxes and butters with an infusion of fresh lemons (you chop them up and pour boiling water on them - basically lemon tea). They added a skintoning and very tasty flavour of natural vanilla absolute and mandarin essential oil and they ended up with an excellent, deliciously lickable balm. So now what we have is a little tin of nicely melty balm, unsurpassed in its lip softening abilities, thanks to some murumuru butter, extra virgin coconut oil and japan wax. For vegans, if they get there fast.
